I am a qualified Humanistic Integrative Counsellor drawing from the Person Centred, Transactional Analysis and Gestalt approaches. I am a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and adhere to the BACP code of Ethics. I am fully insured.
My focus is to help individuals heal, energize, and become aware of their inner strengths. I achieve this by providing a non-judgmental, safe space, listening to your concerns, and together customizing a treatment plan that is unique to you and your own personal journey. I don't tell you what to do, but I do work dynamically and creatively drawing from different models of psychotherapy to support you, bringing you into your own awareness. I am warm, approachable and intuitive. For me it's all about the relationship, between you and I working with the whole self. Our client focused work helps you feel seen and heard and I can help you make sense of your thoughts and feelings in the here and now, helping you to make contact with what is stopping you reaching your goals and help you realize your full potential.
I qualified from Wealden Psychology Institute with a Diploma in Humanistic Integrative Counselling (BACP Accredited). I have a Certificate in Couples Counselling with Dr Mark Widdowson and the Link Centre. I have also completed many hours of additional training and CPD, including Internal Family Systems, suicide and self harm, anxiety, depression, bereavement, safeguarding, trauma, shame, attachment, rape and sexual abuse, co-dependency and many more.
